Hi there and welcome to the Mountain & Moss family!

I'm Alissa - the one behind the lens. I live and explore in the Hudson Valley with my husband Alex and two pups Hudson & Oliver. I appreciate you being here and your interest in my work. Photography is a passion of mine that I love sharing with others. Over the last 4 years I have had the pleasure of capturing everything from weddings and engagements, motherhood and newborns, couples, families, and more! My goal with every session is to make you feel comfortable so your photos are natural and warm. I utilize prompts to gather moments of movement and laughter alongside portrait style photos. I will often mix in detail-oriented photos to your gallery for more of a documentary style edit. Overall, I use framing and creativity during sessions to be able to uniquely capture the essence of this moment in your life, so you can remember it years from now as if it were yesterday. I love seeing your homes filled with these special memories in frames on your walls and feel grateful to take part in telling your story.
